In closing, I would like to indicate some of my other interests in the
climate area. I have been very interested in the weather on a local scale
and have published a book titled Victoria's Varied Weather which examines
spatial and temporal patterns of weather and climate. Some of the most
interesting extreme weather events are discussed. This book is available at many local Victoria bookstores and from Trafford Publishing.

I am also very interested in the climate immediately after the last Ice Age.
At that time, the climate was warming very rapidly, then suddenly, in a
period of perhaps five to ten years, the world became colder. The most
widely accepted theory, is that a flux of freshwater entered the North
Atlantic and caused a disruption in the oceanic circulation resulting in
rapid and extensive cooling of much of the world's climate. There remain many problems with this particular theory. Therefore, I am exploring other possible causes for the cooling of the Earth at this time. My intent is to write a book presenting my findings.
